Guiding sound decisions from the most perfect valley in the emptiest corner of the west.
“I get paid to sell. I’ll still tell you not to buy.”
I am a licensed Oregon Realtor working with residential buyers and sellers across Grants Pass, Josephine County, and the wider Rogue Valley. Twenty years in solar energy came first. I spent two decades at homeowners’ kitchen tables, working through some of the largest financial decisions people make about their property. That work taught me to translate complexity without dumbing it down, and to give a straight answer even when the straight answer is to wait. I bring that to every transaction, and you work with me directly, from the first conversation to closing day.
I work the full range of residential real estate. Whether you are buying, selling, downsizing, or investing, you deserve representation that puts your interests first. You get straight information, honest assessments, and the truth about a property, not the version that moves the transaction forward.
Specialties
In the following four areas, I bring high level knowledge and firsthand experience that most agents do not have. I have done the work, built the credentials, and accumulated the kind of experience that does not exist by default:

Senior transitions
I hold the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) certification, earned for the real estate side of later-life change. Downsizing, trust and probate sales, power-of-attorney situations, and families coordinating a move from three states away. These are rarely simple transactions, and the emotional weight is as real as the financial one. I work at your pace, I keep everyone in the loop, and I add no pressure to a situation that already has enough of it. How to Downsize in Retirement in Oregon · Take the Decision Map Quiz

Homesteading and rural land
Southern Oregon is one of the few places where acreage, water rights, and off-grid living are still within reach. It also carries variables most buyers never check until after they close. Zoning categories decide what you can build. Wells, septic, wildfire risk, rural financing, and alternative build rules all differ between Josephine and Jackson counties. I know this terrain, and I will tell you what a parcel can and cannot do before you fall for the view. 10 Tests Before You Homestead · Take the Parcel Reality Check Quiz

Relocation
Most people moving here come from California and other high-cost markets, and they arrive with assumptions that do not all translate. I give relocating buyers an honest picture of the region: the towns across the Rogue Valley and who each one suits, what your budget actually buys, and how to purchase well from a distance. You get the real version, not the one the listing photos sell. California to Oregon: What to Know · Take the Compatibility Quiz

Second opinions
This is likely the largest financial decision of your life. Most people still hire the first agent they meet and stay put, even when something feels off. You should interview several agents before you list. You can get a second read on a price, an offer, or a strategy that does not sit right. If an agent is not serving you, leave and hire one who will. It is your home and your money, and the decision is yours to get right.
This is where I do some of my best work. Before you sign with anyone, come talk. Get a read on your pricing strategy, your timeline, and whether the agent you are considering is actually the right fit. If a listing has expired, I will walk the comp math and tell you plainly why it sat. If you are already mid-process and something feels off, that conversation can still be worth having. I get paid to sell, and I will still tell you the truth. You walk away with something useful either way. Ask me for the second opinion, and let me earn the first.
